Surry Country Parks and Recreation is excited to host the
Second Annual Year of the Trail Glow in the Park 5K at Fisher River Park on October 19th. This will be a glow in the dark 5K where the trails at Fisher River Park will be lit up with blacklights, glow paint and glow balloons. Participants will have the opportunity to deck themselves out in glow in the dark paint and glow sticks for the race. This will be an evening of fun so bring the whole family out to run or walk. You must register by October 5th to ensure that you will receive your glow in the dark t-shirt. If you register after October 5th, you WILL NOT receive a t-shirt. This will be an officially times event with chip timing. After the race there will be a free snacks, smores, bonfires, and games. We hope to see you out for an evening of fun at the park!

Awards:
Every finisher will receive a medal at the competion of the race.
The top 3 finishers in the 14 and under category will receive a custom award along with the 15 and over category.
After the Race:
There will be snacks, smores, bonfires, games, and fun activities for everyone after the race is over.
